I'm having the same issues, cleaning the registy got gog galaxy working but it could not connect to any of games when importing and it would suffer more of the same problems after i closed it down. I just wanted to post it in case someone have similar problem and till now nothing helped - like in my case. Galactic Civilizations III is the largest strategy sandbox ever made. launch gog galaxy as normal user (2x click without run as administrator) - works it works, close it down (exit from tray) finished installation and manually launched gog galaxy as administrator during instalation I selected English language (like I have set on gog website - till now I left Polish for gog galaxy, this is my primary language, as gog suggested), also unticked option to launch gog immedietly after installation launched gog installer as administrator launeched regedit and searched for gog.com and deleted all found items (if you want to do it also - be very carefull what you delete)
